Could produce a final wonder
Infant thing with untrained eyes
My expression is embarrassed
Parentless and paralyzed

Saw her at a Christmas party
At the house of an old friend of mine

Her car was a station wagon and the
Defrost was turned on high and the
Driveway was wet with old snow
And black in places with the melting ice
